The fuels of the future are here
Synthetic fuels such as OME can significantly reduce CO2 emissions while making combustion cleaner. At the Straubing Campus for Biotechnology and Sustainability of the Technical University of Munich (TUM), engineers are demonstrating the production of OME as an alternative to diesel fuel in a newly constructed demonstration plant.

CTV participates in new large-scale project on sustainable mobility
The Federal Ministry of Education and Research is launching a major joint project NAMOSYN – Sustainable Mobility through Synthetic Fuels. Our laboratory is part of it!
In this project, a mini plant will be set up at the laboratory to produce the clean diesel fuel oxymethylene ether (OME).
