Research assistants Lukas Winklbauer and Dominik Groh represented the Laboratory of Chemical Process Engineering this year at the annual Thermodynamics Colloquium on September 25-27 at the University of Stuttgart.

Winklbaur gave insights into the modeling of reactive VLLEs with his presentation titled Chemical and Phase Equilibria in Mixtures of Formaldehyde, Water, n-Butanol/Isobutanol, and Polyoxymethylene Dibutyl Ethers.
Groh presented the poster Modeling Indirect Air Capture by River Water and Experimental Investigation of the Reactive Phase Equilibria.

The colloquium, organized this year by the Institute of Thermodynamics and Thermal Process Engineering ITT (University of Stuttgart) with support from the Wissenschaftliche Arbeitskreis Technische Thermodynamik (WATT) and the Association of German Engineers (Verein Deutscher Ingenieure; VDI), connects students, young scientists, researchers, and professors from German-speaking universities to discuss new developments in thermodynamic models, energy storage, and heat transfer.
