The Laboratory of Chemical Process Engineering welcomes Dr. Manuel Ibañez as its newest post-doctoral researcher. Dr. Ibañez received his Ph.D. from the Dresden University of Technology (TUD) with a doctoral thesis on the optimization of light availability and CO2 dissolution kinetics in microalgae cultivation.
Dr. Ibañez’ research at TUM Campus Straubing will focus on thermodynamic enzyme modelling and aiding in closing the carbon cycle. He will also take part in projects at TUM related to renewable fuel synthesis.
