The Laboratory of Chemical Process Engineering welcomes Dr. Junior Staudt as its newest post-doctoral researcher. Dr. Staudt received his Ph.D. from the State University of West Paraná (UNIOESTE Campus Toledo, Brazil) with a doctoral thesis on biogas upgrading through pressure swing adsorption using plant-derived activated carbon.

Dr. Staudt’s research at TUM Campus Straubing will focus on producing renewable fuels with the aim of reducing CO2 emissions. He will also take part in coordinating the recently announced Synergy Fuels project, a collaboration among six TUM professorships funded by the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMDV). The project aims to increase the efficiency of sustainable fuel production by integrating the production of eFuels and biofuels.
