Bayerischer Rundfunk reported on 22 October in its television program Abendschau about the research at CTV concerning the miniplant for production of the synthetic fuel OME.
The fuels of the future are here
Synthetic fuels such as OME can significantly reduce CO2 emissions while making combustion cleaner. At the Straubing Campus for Biotechnology and Sustainability of the Technical University of Munich (TUM), engineers are demonstrating the production of OME as an alternative to diesel fuel in a newly constructed demonstration plant.
